Meet Mohammed — a determined and resilient maritime professional with a clear goal: building his future near the sea.
Inspired by his father, a master mariner, Mohammed studied maritime studies in Malaysia. Although he couldn’t start his career in the sector right away, he showed strong perseverance by taking on various roles — from tourism and hospitality to a position at the Yemeni embassy, where he supported students with documentation and financial matters. Here, he developed strong communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
Since moving to the Netherlands in 2021, Mohammed has been focused on his goal: learning Dutch and gaining hands-on experience by volunteering on a vessel.
