Ruslan is a motivated and responsible 24-year-old maritime professional originally from Odesa, Ukraine — one of Europe’s key port cities. With a solid background in seafaring, Ruslan started his career as a deck cadet and worked his way up to 3rd officer aboard container ships. His responsibilities ranged from navigating support and safety inspections to handling essential port and crew documentation.

Amed with strong skills in English, mathematics, and technical subjects, it was only natural for Ruslan to pursue maritime studies. After completing several contracts at sea, he made the move to the Netherlands to join his girlfriend — and now he’s ready to bring his skills ashore.

Ruslan is eager to transition into a land-based role where he can apply his technical knowledge, problem-solving mindset, and outside-the-box thinking to improve workflows and support operations. During our conversation, he stood out as highly motivated, dedicated, and genuinely enthusiastic — with a clear willingness to learn and grow.

He speaks fluent English, is actively learning Dutch, and while he doesn’t have a driver’s license yet, he’s flexible and available on short notice via public transport.
