Meet Abdulilah; a Skilled Welder and Teacher with an Inspiring Story

Our candidate, originally from Syria that's now living in the Netherlands for two years, is seeking a new opportunity as a welder or on the conventional lathe. With a remarkable background and strong determination, he is ready to contribute his skills to a new role.

Personal Journey
After leaving Syria in 2013, he spent ten years living and working in Lebanon. There he got married in 2014 and became the father of three daughters, now aged five, seven and nine. His family currently resides in Lebanon while he is working towards building a better future here in the Netherlands. Since his arrival in the Netherlands he has been living in several shelters and is now waiting for a house at the municipality Lansingherland.


Unique Hobby (and Talent)
Beyond his professional experience, he has a unique hobby: beekeeping. Since the age of fourteen, he has harvested up to 50 kilos of honey annually. His bees not only provide honey, but also play an essential role in supporting nature which Abdulilah finds very important.

Availability and Conditions
He holds a residence permit valid until July 2027, allowing him to work without restrictions. Abdulilah doesn't have a valid drivers license yet, but in the meantime he relies on a bicycle for transportation or public transport. His religion is very important, he would like to get the chance to pray during work and he wants to have the friday afternoon off to visit the mosque.
