Start as an Operator with the ambition for full-continuous tasks at a terminal in Vlissingen or Rotterdam and execute operational activities related to the loading of ocean vessels. This also includes the pumping of products via pipelines, the storage and handling of products, the management of the tank farm (such as in compliance with environmental and safety requirements/regulations) and efficient provision of services, both internally and externally.
What will you do as a motivated Operator? The work consists of correctly performing and monitoring manipulations, performing control and occurring activities, in such a way that the terminal can function optimally and safely at all times. What does your day look like?
loading and unloading trucks, barges, wagons and ships (according to proper working methods and procedures);
pumping/receiving products via pipelines;
testing and preparing equipment for maintenance;
performing various gas measurements;
performing administrative/registration tasks;
contributing to the management of the tank park and installations, in such a way that equipment and installations can equipment and installations can function undisturbed.
What is required of you as an Operator with ambition?
good knowledge of required quality, safety and environmental regulations as well as knowledge of the products in relation to safety and the environment;
knowledge of the properties of stored products;
preferably some additional courses such as VCA, ADR, ADNR and RID;
can communicate in the English language at B1 level or higher;
in possession of driving license and own transport;
able to work both independently and in a team, customer-friendly and flexible attitude, good communication skills, good safety awareness, integrity and independent.
