WORKING FROM THE GROUND UP - ONE JACK RAIL AT A TIME!

Together with your on-site colleagues, you're responsible for a correct and safe way of operational work on projects in the field of jacking above-ground storage tanks. 

The following tasks will be part of your job:

In addition to jacking above-ground storage tanks, you will be busy constructing or renovating tank foundations both in concrete and traditional foundations (sand and gravel), carrying out earthworks both above and below ground and any remediation work.

  • Installation of auger beams, jacks, hoses, etc., and jacking of storage tanks;
  • renovation and construction of foundations for storage tanks;
  • work on tank pits, embankments and pipe sections;
  • performance of concrete works, digging of pits and trenches, installation of cables, sewers, street gullies;
  • performing asphalt work and paving;
  • operating small machines such as vibrating plates, vibratory rammers, dumpers, pumps, air hammers, generators, compressors, etc.;
  • ensuring that required tools and small machines are used only when inspected and in good condition.

Do you have:

Besides the fact that you must be motivated, really want to do this work, we ask the following of you:

  • working safely and following procedures and regulations are at the top of your priority list;
  • good health! The job can be quite physical (outdoors);
  • a valid safety (VCA) certificate or willing to obtain one;
  • a driving licence B and own transport.
