The following tasks will be part of your job:

• Preparing financial statements;
• performing financial reporting tasks, reconciling accounts;
• analyzing financial data;
• ensuring compliance with regulations; 
• working with accounting software;
• while supporting accurate record-keeping and financial decision-making; 
• the role also includes responsibility for budgeting and forecasting;
• cash flow management;
• financial risk monitoring. 

In addition, you will support strategic decision-making through financial insights and cost optimization, while ensuring full compliance with relevant regulations, tax requirements, and internal policies.

Do you have:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field;
• minimum 5 years of experience in financial management; marine or supply chain industry experience preferred;
• strong knowledge of Dutch accounting principles and tax legislation;
• proven ability to prepare and analyze complex financial reports;
• experience with ERP/accounting systems; excellent and advanced Excel skills;
• strong communication skills in Dutch and English, Chinese pré;
• proactive, hands-on, and able to work both independently and collaboratively;
• ability to interact with employees at a variety of levels and across functions;
• ability to prioritize and efficiently handle a variety of tasks at once and to meet deadlines;
• exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail required;
• ability to work and maintain sensitive, confidential information.
