The following tasks will be part of your job:
As a grinder, you will play an important role in the production process. You will ensure that the steel components are perfectly finished. These steel plates can be up to 27 metres long. Safety is therefore extremely important, so you will always work with the appropriate protective equipment.
Your tasks:
• Grinding steel according to drawings and work instructions;
• checking materials and equipment for damage and defects;
• working with electric grinders and hand tools;
• setting up equipment correctly and maintaining it properly;
• recording and scanning your work;
• keeping your workplace and materials clean and safe.
What are the working hours?
You will work in three shifts:
• Morning: 06:00 – 14:00
• Afternoon: 14:00 – 22:00
• Night: 22:00 – 06:00
Good to know… You will receive thorough training, which is paid. An experienced colleague will teach you everything you need to know. You will work in a large production hall with colleagues from different countries. Teamwork and safety are paramount here.
Do you have:
• You have preferably 6 months of experience in grinding or metalworking;
• you have a VCA certificate or are willing to obtain one through us;
• you speak English at B1/B2 level;
• you can read drawings and have technical insight;
• you are accurate, motivated and eager to learn.
What do we offer:
A good salary – paid weekly on Fridays – between €15,63 and €17,94 gross per hour excl. irregularity fees. Salaries are reviewed annually and can increase significantly if you perform well.
