As a surveyor, you are used to working in different places and on different shifts. Being on the road is almost second nature to you, as is interacting with different types of people.
Your responsibilities will include the following:
You will be working for a company that specializes in quality analysis of petroleum products, (bio)fuels, chemicals and gases. They also carry out inspections to determine quantity and ensure quality during transportation. As a surveyor for this company, you will take samples on board ocean-going vessels, tankers, tanker trucks/wagons, or from storage tanks. These samples are then delivered to the laboratory for analysis. Under supervision, you will perform light inspection work.
You did it:
- preferably have similar work experience, at least in an industrial environment;
- Good communication skills in English;
- A valid driver’s license (B).
It is also important that you do not suffer from claustrophobia, fear of heights, or hydrophobia and can perform physically demanding tasks.
In addition, it is important that you can communicate fluently, perform accurate work, and have a great sense of responsibility and flexibility.
