I would like to introduce you to Mohamed, a talented young man aged 32, looking for a challenging and instructive full-time position within the research or engineering sector. Mohamed came to the Netherlands in October 2020 and has since worked hard to further develop his academic and professional skills. He has obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Hydroinformatics and holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc. Honours) in Civil Engineering.

I would like to introduce you to Mohamed:
Mohamed is available immediately and is looking for a position where he can grow and learn. He has a particular interest in topics such as weather and climate, hydrology, drought, flooding, climate change, early warning systems and water management. His focus is on applying artificial intelligence (AI), numerical modelling and data science within these fields. He also has a strong interest in structural engineering and project management.

With a wide range of academic and technical skills gained through years of studies, professional work and training programmes, Mohamed is well prepared for the challenges in his field. He has extensive knowledge of Python and is familiar with other programming languages. He also has experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), High Performance Computing (HPC), and climate data processing with Python. His expertise further extends to GIS, QGIS, Remote Sensing, and hydrological and groundwater modelling.

Mohamed also has experience with various cloud models and services such as Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes, and has worked with database systems (SQL). Moreover, he has strong project management skills and a good understanding of Project Management Professional (PMP) principles and guidelines. His technical skills also include the use of tools such as AutoCAD, ETABS, SAFE, Revit and STAAD Pro for structural analysis and design.

Besides his professional ambitions, Mohamed is an inquisitive and socially engaged person. He speaks Dutch at B2 level and continues to develop his language skills as he sees communication as an important aspect of his work. In his spare time, Mohamed enjoys playing football and reading, and although he previously drew portraits, he currently finds little time to pursue this hobby.
