Kalman is a versatile professional with a strong background in chemical engineering and extensive international experience in both the military and chemical sectors. He began his career with the Hungarian Army, where he took on diverse roles primarily focused on monitoring and compliance in peace and security operations. During his service in Afghanistan and Africa, Kalman was responsible for observing and reporting violations to the United Nations and the Hungarian military, giving him valuable insight into peacekeeping dynamics and international cooperation.
After temporarily leaving the military to move with his wife to England for her job opportunity, Kalman quickly found a new position that matched his skill set. However, due to family circumstances, he returned to Hungary after nine months and resumed his career with the Hungarian Army.
In 2013, Kalman received an opportunity to work for the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), based in The Hague. This role took him across the globe, where he spent over 200 days per year on assignments, conducting chemical investigations and providing reports. Through this experience, Kalman gained deep expertise in investigations, advisory roles, and stakeholder management, as well as in administrative and coordination processes. His experience with chemical substances, regulatory compliance, and advising international stakeholders makes him a valuable candidate for roles focused on safety, compliance, and security.
Kalman is now seeking a new opportunity where he can apply his analytical and advisory skills, with a strong preference for roles involving investigation and stakeholder engagement in an international context. His administrative and technical expertise, combined with his experience with the OPCW and military background, make him exceptionally well-suited for positions where he can conduct research and offer strategic guidance.
