With a lifelong fascination for electricity (he even has a Nikola Tesla tattoo to prove it), Dmitriy (Dima) combines deep technical insight with hands-on experience in a wide range of electrical engineering roles.

Dima’s career began at a government railway company and evolved through various industries — from solar panel installations and fire protection systems in a nuclear plant, to building and wiring electrical cabinets for factories and apartment buildings. He also gained experience in frequency converter programming and most recently worked at Dräger calibrating fire and gas detection systems.

His ideal role? A job that blends 20% technical design work with 80% practical, hands-on tasks — the perfect balance between thinking and doing. He thrives in roles where he can analyze, install, and build systems that make a real impact.

Since arriving in the Netherlands in October 2022 to reunite with his wife and daughter, Dima has been working hard to build a stable future. While he doesn’t yet have a driver’s license, he’s ready to begin the process as soon as he secures stable employment. In the meantime, he remains flexible and committed to finding the right opportunity to grow.
