Nadia is a motivated and hands-on logistics professional with a background from the Naval Academy in Uruguay, where she completed her Bachelor’s degree in 2024. Her education combined four years of onshore studies with practical five month onboard training.
During her time in the Navy, Nadia specialized in supply chain and logistics operations aboard vessels and offboard. She gained experience in procurement, inventory management, and coordinating the delivery of essential supplies such as food, clothing, and equipment. She was also involved in transport planning, including organizing truck capacity and routes to ensure efficient delivery from location A to B. Through this, she developed a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to anticipate the operational needs of a crew.
Nadia particularly enjoys working in dynamic environments where she can take ownership, stay in control of processes, and collaborate with others. While she appreciates life at sea, she is also open to shore-based roles, as long as they offer variety and activity—she prefers not to be in a static 9-to-5 office role.
She is currently exploring opportunities within the maritime and logistics sector, such as marine supply, vessel support, or water clerk roles, where she can further develop her skills and contribute to efficient operations.
