We are looking for an energetic Accounts Payable Employee for a leading shipping supplier. In this role, you will be the backbone of the finance department, ensuring the accuracy of our supplier invoices and costs on a daily basis. Your expertise in reconciling vendor statements ensures that the financial data is always up to date.
The following tasks will be part of your job:
- With your keen eye for detail, you will process invoices and ensure everything is correct, from purchase order number to pricing;
- Prepare to support audits, where your skills in documenting and explaining financial transactions really come into their own;
- Your communication skills will be utilized for smooth conversations with our valued vendors.
Do you have:
You will bring a keen eye for detail and a passion for numbers, besides this you have excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize. Also experience with SAP, Microsoft and Excel is required to keep the processes run smoothly.
Furthermore, this is important:
- A background in finance or accounting;
- at least two years experience in a similar role;
- fluent in English, another language would be a benefit;
- a goal-oriented mindset with an adaptive attitude.
