We are looking for one (or more) person(s) who are experienced with designing all kinds of electrical installations in the maritime sector. You will become part of the engineering department where they (and you, of course) will take care of the system integration, electrical design and the automation of new projects as well as upgrading systems on board luxury yachts.
The following tasks will be part of your job:
Within a motivated and ambitious team, you will be responsible for the following (daily) tasks:
- designing of all electrical systems on board, like domotica, lightning and electrical distribution systems;
- substantiating designs with calculations and making sure they can be validated by the necessary authorities;
- making specifications for the materials and components that are needed for the production of the electrical systems;
- elaborating on designs in drawings and providing technical specifications for the people who will be installing your electrical design, and;
- providing technical support for the production, installation and transfer of delivered equipment and systems to the custome
Do you have:
- a degree in electrical engineering;
- experience within the maritime electrical engineering or more than average interest in this area of expertise.
- ambitious to grow along with the company;
- able to communicate in English (and preferably in Dutch);
- familiar with EPLAN.
