Export packer

Do you enjoy working with your hands and do you like varied work?

As an Export Packer, you ensure that valuable goods are packed safely and professionally for transport all over the world: from large machines to industrial installations.

The following tasks will be part of your job:

You play a key role in protecting goods during their journey by sea, air or road. You will be working with bespoke wooden packaging produced in our own workshop. Packaging takes place at our site in Hardinxveld-Giessendam, but also regularly on-site at customers’ premises. As a junior, you’ll learn the ropes from experienced colleagues and gain an understanding of various packaging methods and materials. Do you already have some experience? If so, you’ll have the opportunity to carry out projects independently, mentor colleagues and contribute ideas for smart packaging solutions. You will oversee the packaging process from start to finish. Accuracy and a customer-focused approach are paramount, ensuring that goods arrive at their destination undamaged.

Do you have:

  • Experience in a similar role or a willingness to learn the trade;
  • availability for at least 4 days a week;
  • a good command of Dutch and/or English.
  • technical insight and you are good with your hands;
  • a mindset to work well in a team;
  • the willingness to work overtime occasionally in the evenings or at weekends (in return for additional pay).

What do we offer:

You’ll be offered a challenging role within a close-knit and enthusiastic team. Whether you’re just starting out in your career or already have extensive experience, we offer you plenty of opportunities to develop further within our field.

In addition, we offer:

  • A full-time monthly salary of between €2,650 and €3,800 gross, depending on your knowledge and experience;
  • in-house and external training opportunities;
  • the prospect of a permanent contract;
  • an informal and collegial working atmosphere with short lines of communication;
  • opportunities for personal initiative and development;
  • good terms and conditions of employment in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for the Woodworking Industry;
  • no compulsory construction industry holiday.
