As a Lead Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining the energy infrastructure of the future. Working alongside multidisciplinary teams, you will be responsible for the engineering and realization of complex projects that contribute to a reliable, sustainable and future-proof energy system.
The following tasks will be part of your job:
- Organize, coordinate and oversee the engineering process within various projects, ensuring that activities are completed according to scope, planning and technical requirements.
- develop technical specifications and work packages, ensuring that designs meet all applicable standards and contractual agreements;
- lead and coordinate engineering activities within multidisciplinary project teams, promoting effective collaboration between different technical disciplines;
- review calculations, drawings and technical reports to guarantee quality, compliance and adherence to industry standards;
- collaborate with project managers, internal stakeholders and external partners to support informed decision-making and successful project execution;
- assemble and manage engineering teams, ensuring that the right expertise and resources are available throughout the project lifecycle.
Do you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field;
- at least four years of relevant work experience, for example in energy, automotive, oil and gas, water management or industrial engineering;
- strong affinity with the intersection of engineering, project management and sustainability;
- knowledge of contract frameworks and quality assurance methodologies is considered an advantage;
- excellent command of English, both written and spoken. Dutch proficiency at B1 level or higher is preferred.
