As a Mechanical Engineer / Valve Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and continuous improvement of high-quality instrumentation valves, manifolds, and monoflanges used in the chemical, petrochemical, and renewable energy industries.
You will be involved throughout the entire engineering process – from the initial concept and design phase to production and final implementation. Working closely with colleagues from engineering, production, sales, and our headquarters in Gorinchem, you will contribute to innovative and sustainable technical solutions for leading international clients such as Shell, TotalEnergies, ExxonMobil, and Equinor.
The following tasks will be part of your job:
- Designing and developing valves, manifolds, and instrumentation components
- Creating and maintaining 3D CAD models and technical drawings
- Performing and supervising strength calculations and technical analyses
- Designing, testing, and evaluating prototypes
- Improving existing products and manufacturing processes
- Supporting the sales department with technical advice and commercial calculations
- Developing customer-specific technical solutions
- Participating in customer visits together with the sales team, both domestically and internationally
- Working with and further optimizing our ERP system and related business processes
- Collaborating closely with production, suppliers, and external partners
Do you have:
- A completed MBO+ or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience with 3D CAD systems.
- Knowledge of mechanical design, strength calculations, and product development.
- Experience creating technical drawings and developing prototypes.
- Affinity with ERP systems and technical business processes.
- Good communication skills in both Dutch and English.
- A practical, independent, and solution-oriented attitude.
