You will provide programming support for new and existing information systems (JDEdwards) based on user specifications and in consultation with immediate colleagues and other staff members/users. In doing so, you will offer appropriate assistance to users in identifying programme improvements and maintenance requirements. Communication with other staff members and teams is essential in this regard.
The following tasks will be part of your job:
- Proactively identify areas for improvement in existing software, taking into account both technological developments and user feedback, this involves carrying out performance analyses, designing and implementing new features, and improving;
- design and develop software that seamlessly meets the needs of our end users;
- regularly test the prototypes and make adjustments where necessary to improve user-friendliness and accessibility;
- carry out troubleshooting tasks by conducting in-depth code analyses and tests using advanced tools and techniques.
Do you have:
- HBO level of working and thinking;
- relevant work experience in a similar organisation;
- experience of carrying out your work in accordance with recognised project management methodologies
- perfect communication skills to ensure effective collaboration between internal teams, external suppliers and stakeholders so that projects and initiatives are aligned;
