As a surveyor you are used to work on several locations and in several shifts. Being on the road is almost like your second nature, as well as being in contact with different kind of people.
The following tasks will be part of your job:
You will work at a company that specializes in quality analysis of oil products, (bio)fuels, chemicals, and gases. Additionally, they conduct inspections to determine quantities and ensure quality throughout transportation. As a surveyor at this company, you’ll collect samples aboard sea vessels, tank barges, tank trucks/railcars, or from storage tanks. These samples are then taken to the laboratory for analysis. Under supervision, you’ll perform light inspection tasks.
Do you have:
- preferably similar working experience, at least in an industrial environment;
- good communication skills in English;
- a valid driver’s license (B).
Additionally, it is important that you don’t experience claustrophobia, fear of heights, or aquaphobia, and that you’re capable of performing physically demanding tasks.
Furthermore, it is important that you are able to communicate smoothly, that you perform accurate work and that you are both responsible and flexible.
