When you deploy a candidate through us on a temporary or secondment basis, we work with BackOfficer to arrange everything related to legal employment, payroll administration, and time recording. This allows you to focus on the day-to-day management of the employee, without any administrative concerns. Below, we explain how it works, step by step:
Candidate has been hired:
- We will work with BackOfficer to draw up the employment contract;
- the candidate will be legally employed by BackOfficer (not by you);
- you will receive an agreement from Backofficer stating the agreements made;
- you will receive all relevant details in advance: start date, hourly rate, contact persons, etc.
Time registration via the BackOfficer portal
In order to pay the candidate correctly, you need to confirm the hours worked on a weekly or monthly basis via the BackOfficer portal, this works as follows:
- The candidate enters his/her hours worked via the digital BackOfficer portal;
- you receive a notification (by email) as soon as the hours are ready for approval;
- you log in to the portal and check the hours entered;
- you click on “approve” — that’s all there is to it!
Please note: Timely approval is important so that the candidate receives their salary on time. Preferably already on Monday.
Payment and invoicing
- After approval, BackOfficer will take care of payroll processing and payment to the candidate;
- you will receive an invoice from BackOfficer based on the approved hours.
Support & contact
- If you have any questions about the portal or time tracking, please contact BackOfficer Support or us;
- if you have any questions about the candidate, guidance or employability, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Important to know:
- You are not the legal employer, but you are responsible for day-to-day management and guidance;
- you do not have to deal with contract management, payslips or absence management — BackOfficer takes care of that;
- transparent, secure and fully compliant with the law.
