As Kadir had gained most of his professional experience in Japan, some of 2M Logistics’ specific working processes and relationships with customers and partners were initially new to him. The support he received also helped him build on his existing logistics experience. This has given him a broader understanding of international freight forwarding. Kadir has also learned more about Dutch working culture from his colleagues and has already picked up Dutch words and terminology related to logistics and shipping.

Kadir brings more than logistics knowledge to the organisation. He speaks Chinese, Japanese, Turkish and English. According to Hans, these language skills are particularly valuable within international logistics.
