Are you technically curious, analytical, and motivated by improving systems and processes? As an Application Manager, you will manage and continuously improve business applications, support users, resolve incidents, and implement changes. You will act as the link between users, IT, suppliers, and external developers, translating user needs into practical solutions and ensuring a reliable, secure, and efficient IT environment.

The following tasks will be part of your job:

• Manage maintain, and continuously improve one or more business applications;
• support users with questions, incidents, and technical issues;
• analyze and resolve application-related problems and disruptions;
• manage users, roles, authorizations, and access rights;
• prepare, test, and coordinate updates, releases, and system changes;
• identify improvement opportunities and translate them into practical solutions;
• monitor the availability, continuity, and performance of applications;
• monitor and manage integrations and data exchange between applications;
• coordinate with suppliers and external parties regarding incidents, changes, and improvements;
• translate business and user requirements into functional solutions;
• support the implementation of new applications and functionalities;
• create and maintain user and system documentation;
• contribute to information security, privacy, and compliance with internal procedures.

Do you have:

• MBO+/HBO working and thinking level, preferably in ICT, Information Management, or a related field;
• experience in functional and/or technical application management;
• strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• an affinity with business processes and information systems;
• strong communication and user-oriented skills;
• the ability to work independently and set priorities;
• experience with IT service management or ticketing/registration systems is a plus;
• knowledge of databases, APIs, and/or SQL is a plus;
• a proactive mindset and a genuine curiosity to learn new systems and technologies.
